Pelvic Strengthening

Pelvic floor strength is vital to ensure healthy bladder and bowel function. After pregnancy (and also with age) a woman's ability to control her pelvic floor can often be compromised. Education about the Pelvic Floor muscle group, combined with targeted exercises can help with regaining proper function of these muscles.

Exercising During Pregnancy

Pelvic Floor strengthening is also vitally important during your pregnancy, as this can help to reduce the severity of back and pelvis pain that is often experienced during pregnancy.

If you have any concerns about pelvic floor function, feel free to speak to your therapist.
