Spinal manipulation (and the manipulation of other joints) is a non-invasive, hands-on health care discipline that focuses on the neuro-musculoskeletal system. It involves the use of gentle or aggressive techniques to help loosen the joints, and thus helps to promote more movement. Manipulation can also refer to the technique commonly known as 'cracking'.

Please discuss with your therapist if you have any concerns about spinal and joint manipulation
